Amornsak Sakpuaram and Vichai Suphasomboon to steer Dentsu Aegis Network in Thailand

          Dentsu Aegis Network Southeast Asia today announced changes in its leadership team in Thailand as part of the next phase of integration between the former Dentsu and Aegis brands. The combined network, which employs 652 people in the country, named Vichai Suphasomboon the Non-Executive Chairman and Amornsak Sakpuaram the Chief Executive Officer for the group’s operations in Thailand. Both will step into their new roles, starting July 1. The newly appointed country leadership team will report into regional Chairman & CEO Dick van Motman.
          With innovative brand building at its core, the Dentsu Aegis Network Southeast Asia will continue to provide unparalleled integrated solutions to clients in Thailand by tapping into the presence of its agency brands in the country; Dentsu Thailand, Dentsu Media Thailand, Dentsu Plus, Carat, Isobar, iProspect, Posterscope and Vizeum.

          Amornsak, who will stay on as President and CEO of Dentsu Thailand, will lead Dentsu Aegis Network Thailand and work closely with the respective agency heads of all the Dentsu Aegis Network brands to drive the day-to-day operations in Thailand. Amornsak graduated In MBA (Marketing Management), and International Management Program Certificate from IMD
International, Lausanne, Switzerland. He has been working with Dentsu Thailand for 24 years in Account Management. Then he was appointed to be President since 2Dentsu Aegis Network1Dentsu Aegis Network.

Currently chief executive officer of Aegis Media Thailand, Vichai Suphasomboon, a well known person in the advertising field, spent over 3Dentsu Aegis Network years with reputable marketing and advertising companies and held top positions like Marketing Director of MP Marketing, President of Lintas Thailand, Chairman & CEO of Siamese D’Arcy and former President of the Advertising Association of Thailand. As Non-Executive Chairman, Vichai will be responsible for fostering closer collaboration between the different agency brands, managing the network’s strategic positioning in Thailand, and developing human capital across the network.
