Qantas is offering special air fares to Australia and New Zealand at the 11th Thai International Travel Fair organised at Queen Sirikij National Convention Center from 16 - 19 August 2012. Travellers who may be unable to visit the fair can book and purchase the return air tickets until 31 August at their preferred travel agents or on Qantas website at www.qantas.com.
Mr Sriram Narayan, Manager Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for Qantas and British Airways, said “This is an opportune time for Qantas to be participating at the fair to promote our services and attract existing and potential travellers to visit Australia and New Zealand. Our special fares cover various destinations such as Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne in Australia and Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington in New Zealand.
“Economy Class airfares on Qantas flights to Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide) are for sale starting at 27,030 baht, while Economy Class airfares to New Zealand (Christchurch, Auckland or Wellington) are for sale starting at 33,145 baht. The airfare includes airport taxes, service fees and other surcharges. Airfares are offered for travel until 30 November 2012. Passengers are able to book air tickets at Qantas booth (booth no 121-122) during the 11th Thai International Travel Fair or with their preferred travel agents on Qantas website at www.qantas.com within 31 August 2012 (limited seats), Mr Sriram said.
“Australia is a fun and lively country. Visitors can enjoy various tourist attractions throughout the year. Travellers will experience the uniqueness of Australia from the moment they step on board our aircraft,” he added.
From Thailand, Qantas operates daily services to Sydney. Qantas flight QF024 departs Suvarnabhumi Airport at 2055 hrs and arrives at Sydney at 0900 hrs on the following day. The return flight QF023 departs Sydney at 1230 hrs and arrives at Bangkok on the same day at 1850 hrs.
