Interview Sessions
Mentor International, a leading overseas educational consultancy in Thailand, invites all those interested in Art & Design, Fashion Design, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Media/Film, Interior Design, Photography, Product Design, Public Relations, Textiles and Communications to attend an interview with Mr Tony Alston, Head of International Recruitment and Development at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. Students should bring along their portfolio with them.
The Interview Days will be hosted on Friday 11th May 2012, from 10.00 – 17.00 hrs. and Saturday 12th May 2012 from 10.00 - 14.00 hrs. at the office of Mentor International at Regent House, Rajdamri Road.
Special Presentation
Prepare yourselves for Art & Design Study Abroad, a special presentation on “How to prepare your portfolio for Foundation, Bachelor and MA programmes at the University of the Arts, London?” by Mr Tony Alston, Head of International Recruitment and Development at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
Tony Alston is a typical product of the UK’s unique design education system. With nearly 4 decades of being at the centre of London fashion as Designer, Art Director and Fashion Educator, he has seen London grow from the spontaneity of the 60’s to the growth of the sophisticated world fashion capital it now is.
Tony has worked as a fashion consultant at all levels of the market from the High Street to Pr?t and after a working for the Conran group was Art Director for Browns London during its most influential period when London was not only a hothouse for young British designers such as John Galliano, but also the European focus for major international designers such as Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Donna Karan, Comme Des Garcons and many more.
This free presentation will be held on Saturday, 12th May 2012 at Mentor International, 16th Floor, Regent House, Bangkok, 14.00 – 16.00 hrs. Limited seating available. Please call to register as soon as possible.
