Astudo Hotel & Resort Group, innovative campaign at the Discovery Thailand fair has proved a huge hit with over 1 million Baht in bookings on the first day.
The event, held from the 3-6 of September at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre brings together all travel industry associates.
Astudo has been a company to watch out for this year with their very creative sales strategy devising a package to good to pass up. The “How old are you” package offers the first night stay at a rate of 8,900 Baht in any of their 7 resort locations (Pranburi, Chiang Mai, Koh Kood, Samui, Kui Buri and Rayong) and the second night stay is priced at the cost of your age.
Their tag line “How Old Are You?” painted on their booth, staff t-shirts and free bottles of water, has generated high levels of curiosity, drawing in consumers which has produced record sales on day 1 for this hotel and resort group.
Astudo VP of Business Development, Khun Sorathep says “This year we decided to be as creative as we possibly could, because with the downturn in the economy all the other hotels are just cutting prices in a very traditional way, that ultimately just damages their brand and market position. Astudo has instead chosen a unique and creative way to attract consumers with its “How old are you” theme. The idea of handing out free bottles of water with the campaign details on the label was just a fun way to send out our message, and also offer consumers something of value.”
Astudo Hotel & Resort Group has set a target of 10 million baht that they hope to achieve over the 4 days of the exhibition and are well on their way to achieving this.
The consumer fair will have over 100 exhibitors and is expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors over 4 days.
