Nokia Nseries, in co-operation with the Nation Group, is conducting the “News Made by Hand by Nokia N96” campaign, which opens the opportunity for Nokia N-series users to be good-news reporters. Prizes in the campaign include Nokia N96, Nokia N85 and Nokia N79 multimedia computers and many others. The campaign runs between 13 October and 30 November, 2008.
“The Nokia N96 has outstanding features such as the highest quality imaging and video and 16 GB of internal memory to make it easy to capture video footage,” said Mr.Vipul Sabharwal, Nokia (Thailand) Ltd. “The ‘News Made by Hand - Nokia N96’ campaign invites Nokia Nseries users to become good-news reporters, because every day many good things happen all around us, both big and small, that add a little bit of happiness to our daily lives. We encourage people to share these wonderful moments with others to enhance their experiences and inspire our society to try and live better.”

Contestants can upload the clips to www.nokia.co.th/newsmadebyhand. The best video clips of the week will get aired on the Kao-Kon-Kon-Kao program on Channel 9 and the Nation Channel, and the person who submitted it will receive a Nokia Bluetooth headset. A committee of judges will select the top three winners, who will receive a Nokia N96 for first place; a Nokia N85 for second place; and a Nokia N79 for third place.
Examples of good-news reports include tips for saving energy, people doing helpful things, celebrities in caring scenes, price reductions in daily commodities, building new schools or any other positive activity.
