Raimon Land Wins Prestigious CNBC Asia Property Award for “Best Developer Website Thailand”

Luxury property developer, Raimon Land has won the “Best Developer Website Thailand” for theriverbangkok.com at the CNBC Asia Pacific Property Awards 2008, the award adds to its growing list of international accolades. Local agency, Creative In-House, designed the site to promote Raimon Land’s 851-unit Bangkok luxury condominium project, The River. The site provides a virtual tour that employs the latest computer generated image (CGI) technology and fish-eye lens photography, and it returns impressive average unique visitor figures of 2,570 per month. Raimon Land Chief Executive Officer, Nigel Cornick, said the CNBC website award recognises that Raimon Land’s innovations in creativity, usability, functionality and design – all of which are values reflected in its luxury condominium developments – are setting new standards in upscale property developments. “The River’s domain demonstrates the lengths to which Raimon Land will go to meet the needs of ever more demanding investors while raising the bar for high-quality creative standards,” said Mr Cornick. Launched in December 2007, the website entices prospective customers through substantive content and informs them of The River’s unique advantages. The clean and uncluttered design reflects The River’s brand identity and atmosphere, while CGI technology takes virtual reality to the next level by rendering meticulous photographic-quality 3D walkthroughs of the property that surpass animated simulations. “The site has proven to be particularly effective in attracting foreign buyers, and as a March 2007 pre-launch sales tool, helped generate THB2 billion in bookings within three days,” added Mr Cornick. “Higher than expected take up at The River pushed sales over the THB7 billion mark in June this year, driving the project’s total sales volume to 55.5% of the targeted THB12 billion, and more than THB800 million over the sales target to date.” This year’s CNBC Asia Pacific Property Awards is part of the International Property Awards programme, now in its 14th year.
