Pacific Internet (Thailand) Limited, a member of Pacific Internet Limited, the Asia’s largest telco-independent Internet communications service provider by geographic reach, launches a new phase of PacNet Internet Data Center (PacNet IDC) offering private rooms and dedicated cages to address the market growth and increasing demand of leading enterprises with secured data storage and advanced services in Thailand.
Mr. Prithayuth Nivasabutr, Managing Director, Pacific Internet (Thailand) Limited, said, “Our IDC services is now making to its 3rd phase by offering customized private rooms and caged solutions to serve leading enterprises and multi-national companies. These enterprises require more privacy and security to house their mission critical applications and information as a mirror back-up center. This is not only a trend, but also a demand from large enterprise customers.”

He added that the conceptual design for the IDC based on the Living design. The first 2 phases was based on Condominium Living style (common locked racks type) which all tenants shared spacing which at present it is fully occupied by more than 100 SMB clients. The experiences from the previous led to the design of the newest 3rd phase, Exclusive Town Home (caged solutions) and Private Mansion (customized private room) which offer the following services:
Private Mansion is composed of two private rooms, each of which covers an area of 19 square meters, accommodating eight racks controlled with IP management. This service package is suitable for a large number of servers. It offers the highest privacy and data security.
Exclusive Town Home separates spaces with dedicated 6 cages. Each cage is provided with 9 square meters for four full racks. This solution is appropriate for medium-size enterprises, which does not have many servers but prefers privacy.
Both solutions have its own security system to control the access to the room with fingerprint scan. Each section is also monitored by 24x7 through centralized IP management and equipped with backup power system to ensure the availability of all secured data and equipment.
Mr. Prithayuth said as leading international ISP which operates in seven countries enables PacNet to offer Disaster Recovery Center: DRC/Back Up Co-Location, despites from the fastest internet connection. These services provide a higher level of data security, availability and business continuity for data-intensive businesses such as banks, financial companies and industrial businesses. Customers will be able to backup their information anywhere in Asia Pacific.
