This year, the Japan Foundation Bangkok, the Thai Cartoonists Association and Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University proudly present the 10th Asian Cartoon Exhibition on the theme “Asian Environmental Issues”, featuring 77 new cartoons of leading cartoonists from 10 Asian nations, including Thailand and Japan. Each cartoon will present various perspectives of the cartoonists on the topic of environmental issues in each country.
The Japan Foundation has been holding the Asian Cartoon Exhibition every year as a contribution to the greater understanding of Asian societies, cultures and people through the widely appreciated medium of cartoons. This year, the exhibition will be held in Nakhon Si Thammarat before moving to Bangkok as follows.

We would like to introduce Khun Thiwawat Pattaragulwanit, the Thai cartoonist whose works are shown in this exhibition. He is Editorial Cartoonist for the Thai-language daily business paper “Krungthep Thurakit” and English daily “Bangkok Post”. He won the ESCAP 50th Anniversary Cartoon Exhibition, Third Prize in 1997.
