Galileo Becomes First GDS to Secure Full Content with All Leading US Network Carriers

Galileo-connected agents now have access to more low cost inventory with recent agreements with Jetstar Asia, Valuair, SpiceJet and AirAsia Travelport, Inc., formerly known as Cendant Travel Distribution Services, has today reinforced its leading position in the travel industry by announcing that its Galileo GDS is the only GDS to have secured full content with all seven U.S. network carriers including Delta, United, American, Northwest, Continental, US Airways and Alaska Airlines. All of these agreements have terms of at least five years. Galileo already has similar deals in place with carriers such as British Airways, Air France, KLM, Virgin Atlantic and Qantas. Other participants include JetBlue Airways, Air Tran, Spirit Airlines and Air Arabia. Recent agreements with Jetstar Asia, Valuair, SpiceJet and AirAsia enhance the low cost inventory for travel agents in Asia.
