LINE NEXT Launches Mini Dapps on LINE Messenger

Mini Dapps powered by Kaia are accessible directly from LINE Messenger through Dapp Portal'sOfficial Account, all without downloading a separate application, and are designed to make it easyfor users to experience Web3 services. On Dapp Portal, users can navigate and use a diverserange of Mini Dapps in such categories as games, social media, and content, or users can accesseach Mini Dapp through its own LINE Official Account. In addition, by using the in-app wallet, userscan get rewards for using each Dapps, and trade virtual assets and NFTs. LINE NEXT will alsointroduce Dapp Portal on LINE Messenger's Home tab and a web browser version as well. For the first 32 Mini Dapps being introduced by LINE NEXT were developed under the Kaia Waveprogram, jointly operated by LINE NEXT and the Kaia Foundation to support Web3 developers,and through LINE NEXT's software development kit (SDK). These include:

- Bombie and Cattea developed by Pluto Studio, whose mini-app project attracted 43 million usersin just six months and achieved No.1 in sales volume

- Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS- on LINE, a game based on the popular soccer manga CaptainTsubasa

- Superz, a healthcare and wellness gateway Dapp for non-crypto users, seamlessly blendingfitness habits and tangible rewards

All told, LINE NEXT aims to introduce more than 1,000 projects by the end of 2025.
