GAME DOSI Releases Its Next Global Title 'SWEET MONSTER GUARDIANS'

• GAME DOSI's second Web3 title incorporating NFTs into the game comes from the Korean character brand SWEET MONSTER

LINE NEXT Inc., LINE's venture dedicated to developing and expanding the NFT ecosystem, announced today that its Web3 gaming platform GAME DOSI is releasing its second title, SWEET MONSTER GUARDIANS, in 180 countries (excluding South Korea, Japan, and China). The alpha test for a new game title based on GAME DOSI's in-house Project GD IP, will also begin today.

SWEET MONSTER GUARDIANS is a web-based strategic defense game that is available directly on both PC and mobile devices without the need for a separate client download. The game was developed as a Web3 game combining NFTs with the existing mobile game of SWEET MONSTER, the successful Korean character brand specializing in both character licensing and dessert franchise businesses.

The game is set in a whimsical universe where SWEET MONSTERS, messengers of happiness, unite to protect their town from unforeseen incidents. Choosing from various gameplay options, players can strategically drag and drop their character cards to attack enemies, merge identical cards to enhance their skills, and challenge other players to real-time battles through the multiplayer mode.

To promote the game launch, LINE NEXT is rewarding existing SWEET MONSTER NFT holders with in-game items. Users can now set their purchased NFTs to their in-game profile to gain additional power. NFTs for SWEET MONSTER GUARDIANS will be publicly available for purchase starting October 6 on GAME DOSI.

Starting today, LINE NEXT also is running an alpha test until October 19 for its first title from the in-house Project GD IP. The unannounced title is a trading card game where players collect digital cards and battle opponents in one-on-one matches. During the alpha test, the GAME DOSI Membership NFT holders will receive free NFTs that can be used in the game items every day, and users who report game bugs will also receive NFTs as rewards.
