Mr.Soammaphat Traisorat CEO and MD of TCC Capital Land Limited revealed that CapitaLand, Singapore, a joint venture partner in TCC Capital Land has sold its 40% shares to TCC Land Company, a major shareholder of 60% stakes in TCC Capital Land for a total cash consideration of THB2.33 billion. Consequently, TCC Land owns 100% shares in TCC Capital Land. "The relationship between TCC Land and CapitaLand remains strong." Mr.Soammaphat said.
From hereon, TCC Capital Land will, in conjunction with other TCC Group business units, i.e. the hospitality group, the retail business and the office building group, jointly promote mixed-use development projects which will fit with today's dynamic living lifestyle.
The first development under the new management will be in Pattaya. The project comprises a condominium, a serviced apartment / time share, a hotel and retail business on a 150 rai plot. This project is worth over THB10 billion and the development process will commence in the 3 rd quarter of this year.
"I believe that, with its involvement and past experience of the TCC Group in real estate business, together with the group's financial strength, TCC Capital Land will move into a new era of residential mixed-use development with emphasis on quality and design" Mr.Soammaphat said.
To date, TCC Capital Land has successfully launched 10 condominium and housing projects - Athenee Residence on Wireless Road, Villa Rachakhru at Paholyothin, The Empire Place at Narathiwat, The Emporio Place on Sukhumvit Soi 24, Villa Rachatewi at Phayathai Road, Villa Sathorn at Krungthonburi, North Park Place at Rajchapruek on Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road, Villa Asoke on Petchaburi Road, S&S Sukhumvit on Sukhumvit 101/1 Road and a premium detached-house project, The Royal Residence on Kaset-Navamin Road.
