CIGNA International appointed CIGNA Thailand’s new CFO & Head of Strategic Business

CIGNA International has appointed Mr. Andy Damrow as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Head of Strategic Business for CIGNA International - Thailand effective since mid of April 2011, with primary responsibility overseeing the profitability and growth of the CIGNA Thailand operation. He is also responsible for overseeing all Legal, Compliance, and Audit functions.
He reports directly to CIGNA Thailand’s CEO & Country Manager, Mr. Gary Denson. He is also a member of CIGNA Thailand’s Senior Leadership Team.
Mr. Damrow joined CIGNA in 2008 and was appointed COO-LINA Korea for CIGNA with primary responsibility overseeing the profitability and growth of the CIGNA Korea operation.
He was responsible for Marketing, Public Relations, Operations, Information Technology, and General Affairs. He was also a member of the LINA BOD.
Prior to joining CIGNA, Mr. Damrow was with General Electric (GE), where he most recently served as Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and Business Development Manager for the Fleet
Services division located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA. During his career with GE he held a series of diverse assignments with increasing responsibility and leadership accountability. Formally, Mr. Damrow held finance and operation positions within many GE businesses (Energy, GE Employers Reinsurance and Capital Solutions). Prior to GE, he served as a consultant with Ernst & Young’s Cash Management Consulting Practice. Mr. Damrow holds a BBA with a Major in Finance and a Minor in Economics from the University of Iowa.
