Good news for chubby fellows! The Thai Society for the Study of Obesity (TSSO), together with Abbott Laboratories, is recruiting participants for the second one-year weight loss marathon called "Reduce Weight, Reduce Risk" contest to compete for a slim, healthy body as well as 100,000-baht worth of prizes. To join for free, visit application booth at room Concorde 3, fourth floor, Intercontinental Hotel, on Thursday February 12, from 14.00 - 16.00 hrs. "Reduce Weight, Reduce Risk" contest made its debut in early 2003 as the first and sole weight loss contest. The contest takes up to one-year period to ensure that participants will successfully maintain their weight loss safely and efficiently. On February 12, the TSSO will also announce the winners of the first year contest and accept participants for the second year contest. Each participant will have weight loss consultants to plan his/her personal weight loss scheme in the area of diet control, exercise, and other behavioral modification.
