Krungsri Auto Joins Forces with Thai Parliament and Department of Land Transport to Promote Children's Road Safety with Distribution of 1,000 Helmets

Mr. Congsin Congcar, Head of Krungsri Auto Group, Bank of Ayudhya PCL., said, "For over a decade, Krungsri Auto has been running the LET'sponsible project, or Responsible (Let us be responsible) to instill the concept of social responsibility, which starts with the individual and expands to those around them. Our goal is to cultivate safe and responsible road use behaviors, particularly through initiatives that deliver tangible results. In 2025, we are continuing this effort by promoting helmet use among children aged 4-12 who ride as motorcycle passengers. With the support of the Parliament's Subcommittee on Infrastructure and Vehicle Safety for Accident Prevention and Road Safety and the Department of Land Transport, this initiative reflects our strong commitment to building safer roads for all. We are honored to collaborate with our partners in jointly advancing safer motorcycle travel through the distribution of 1,000 helmets for children."

Mr. Surachai Liengboonlertchai, Chairman of the Parliament's Subcommittee on Infrastructure and Vehicle Safety for Accident Prevention and Road Safety, stated, "Promoting a culture of road safety has always been a top priority, and we are committed to supporting measures that help reduce accidents and protect all road users - especially children and teenagers, who are among the most vulnerable. We are pleased to see the collaboration from the private sector, such as Krungsri Auto, in driving this initiative. The loss of young lives can have long-term consequences on the country's development, so it is vital that we work together to raise awareness among both parents and children about the importance of wearing helmets to reduce the risk of road accidents."

Mr. Seksom Akraphand, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Land Transport, stated, "The Department of Land Transport is working toward the government's goal to reduce traffic-related fatalities to 12 per 100,000 people by 2027. We recognize that raising public awareness and changing the behavior of road users is a key factor for ensuring road safety, especially for children and youth, who are a vulnerable group at high risk. We have organized campaigns to instill a safe road culture from an early age, with appropriate learning processes for each age group, available through the website kidsoer.safedrivedlt.com. Additionally, there is 'The New Generation of Students with a Driver's License' program, which trains safe riding skills for students. Therefore, support from the private sector, such as Krungsri Auto, is a key driver that will help us achieve this goal while fostering a culture of safe driving in Thai society."

The LET'sponsible project aims to promote road safety and responsible driving behavior. It also emphasizes the importance of respecting traffic rules and sharing kindness with fellow road users. This initiative seeks to reduce accidents and prevent the loss of life and property. Krungsri Auto is proud to contribute to building safety awareness in Thai society and is committed to driving sustainable change to make every road safe for everyone.
