The Effective Speed Management and Enforcement for the Bangkok Traffic Police

           Mr. Marcin Flieger (Center) and Ms. Cessie Petchi (2nd Right) from the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) under the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS) conducted a full-day Speed Enforcement Training to 2Bloomberg Philanthropies traffic police officers from the 2 local police stations in Bangkok: Ladkrabang and Jorrakae Noi. The training covered both theoretical and practical aspects including speeding as a risk factor, the speed enforcement (tactics and techniques, strategy, type of speed enforcement, speed problem identification, enforcement planning, checkpoint setting, interception safety procedures, data-led enforcement, etc.).
