Hilton Pattaya Participates in Hilton Worldwide’s Largest Annual Global Career Initiative

          Hilton Pattaya has taken part in Careers@Hilton Live: Youth in Hospitality Month, Hilton Worldwide's annual global career event showcasing the many opportunities available in the hospitality industry for young people. Throughout the month of May, Hilton Worldwide hotels and corporate offices around the globe are hosting hundreds of events to inform those looking for employment about the exciting and diverse career opportunities in the hospitality industry. This initiative is a part of Hilton Worldwide's Open Doors commitment, which aims to positively impact at least one million young people by enHilton WorldwideHilton Pattaya9 and better prepare them to reach their full potential.
          On May en4, Hilton Pattaya hosted Careers@Hilton Live event that brought 55 students from Burapha University to this open-house activity. This year the students get to have the hands on experience and get to work together with our Team Members.
          The students were assigned to 4 different departments including Housekeeping; where they had a chance to do cleaning and make up room, F&B Service; where they learnt to be a bartender by practice making mocktail, set up tables and carrying plates to serve guest at our restaurant. Also learn how to cook and prepare their own Thai set lunch with our professional kitchen team and finally learning to greet guests at Front desk and answering calls at Magic call center as well as visited the Engineering department for a short tour.
          Moreover, the HR team also gave advice on how to write a CV and also allow students to practice their answers to the questions they're most likely to be asked for a job interview with some of our head of department.
          Rudolf Troestler, general manager said "Young people continue to face challenging employment prospects, so it is more important than ever to make sure they receive information and advice about the options available and the skills and attributes they will need once they embark on their chosen careers."
