Jetstar Asia celebrates ten years of flights to Bangkok

          This year marks Jetstar AsiaRJetstar Asia7;s Jetstar AsiaJetstar Group years of flying to Bangkok, the milestone coinciding with the Jetstar GroupRJetstar Asia7;s Jetstar AsiaJetstar Asiath birthday celebrations this month, bringing over a decade of great value, low fares and innovation to travellers.
          Jetstar Asia commenced operations from Singapore to Bangkok in March 2Jetstar GroupJetstar Group5 with Jetstar Asia4 weekly services and strong customer demand has seen this grow to up to 35 weekly services today.
The Jetstar Group currently operate up to 52 flights a week to Bangkok with three of its airlines RJetstar AsiaJetstar Asia; Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Australia and New Zealand and Jetstar Pacific - bringing more travellers from Singapore, Australia and Vietnam to the popular Thai destination.
          Jetstar Asia CEO Barathan Pasupathi said the airline was pleased to have played a role in transforming the nature of travel in the region.

          In Thailand, before the arrival of low cost carriers, travel was far less accessible, said Mrs Wanida Hongsunirandon of Holiday Tours & Travel (GSA) Ltd.
          ̶Jetstar Group;In the last ten years, Jetstar AsiaRJetstar Asia7;s low fares have not only opened up travel to Singapore but have provided Thai travellers greater direct access to more destinations across Asia,̶Jetstar Asia; said Mrs Wanida.
          Last year, Jetstar Asia added daily services from Bangkok to Fukuoka and Jetstar Pacific recently launched services from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Bangkok, opening up new opportunities for customers in Thailand to experience more of the low fares promise.
          Jetstar Airways currently operate up to three weekly return services from Melbourne to Bangkok and was the first LCC B787 Dreamliner operator in the region to fly its aircraft into Thailand.
