TA Orange launches "take stock" an exclusive new stock market data service for Orange SPV handset

Bangkok--Apr 23--Hill & Knowlton Thailand TA Orange, Thailand's leading wirefreeƒ operator, has unveiled an innovative new data service for stock market investors. The service, "take stock", was developed in concert with Freewill Solutions, a leading content provider for e-business and the major source of tailor-made solutions for Thai securities brokerages and insurance firms. The unique "take stock" application leverages the multimedia capabilities of the recently launched Orange SPV handset - which runs a Microsoft Windows-based operating system and programs - to offer investors exclusive stock market information. Of particular importance to them will be the way the "take stock" presents graphics, charts, tables and other information in a format that mimics the actual display on the stock market trading floor. Orange's "take stock" service is the first of its kind in Thailand because, by using the high-tech capabilities of the multimedia SPV handset, it is able to present data in a rich, user-friendly format that utilizes graphics and charts, not simply text. Using "take stock" investors and traders can access exclusive, real time stock market information, including the stock calendar, stock alerts, stock quotes, market indicators, the best and worst performing stocks and the most active stocks and sectors, all at the touch of a couple of buttons.
