Photo Release: Sodexo Thailand joins hands with UN to promote environmental awareness as celebration of World Environment Day
In celebration of World Environment Day, Sodexo Thailand, local unit of the France-based global leader in integrated facilities management services that improve the quality of life, led by Mr. Arnaud Bialecki, (4th from right, front row) Country President, has joined hands with United Nations in Thailand, represented by United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and United Nations Environment, to promote "Carbon Neutral Catering Services". Sodexo's environmental conservation program has been launched for the first time at the United Nations with attempts to reduce the use of plastic containers and replace them with the ones made from bagasse, as well as encouraging staff to bring their own reusable cups and food containers and offering sustainable food choices using sustainable food sources. Sodexo is also implementing WasteWatch initiative to measure the amount of food left uneaten, aiming to raise awareness about food waste. Sodexo and United Nations are setting a good example for others by taking all efforts to conserve and protect the environment for the greater good.
