It's the first time in Thailand, Robocup Division 1 Thailand Championship

Bangkok--Nov 28--PC & Associates Consulting Come and cheer 10 intelligent robots and developer teams, who will be representing Thailand in Robocup 2003, Italy Seagate Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. incorporation with the Thai Robotics Society, and the Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University cordially invite you to join the final round of Thailand's first Robocup Championship 2002, the autonomous humanoid robot soccer league, to find the best performer to participate the World Robocup Championship 2003 during July 2 - 11, 2003 in Padua, Italy. Not only does the contesting aim to reinforce Thai youth in mechanical, electronics and robotic skills, but also to widen their perspective vision into international technology and conceptual thinking that the winner will see advanced robotic technology from many countries. The semi final round will be held during Friday-Saturday, November 29-30, from 9.00hrs to 17.00hrs. (Pls. see also the attached the table of competition). The final round games will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2002 from 9.00hrs onward at the (main hall) Zeer Rangsit Shopping Centre. You will be able to see by yourself the prototype "robot athletes" who have been in the playgrounds till this final round, and also get to know and chat with Thai students from academic institutes from all over the country, whose intelligences have been tested and proved.
